There is a combination video of few scenery in LOMBOK, where is senggigi beach, gili trawangan, senaru (waterfall), kuta lombok and more. Do not underestimate this island because it really owned a great deal of activities such as snorkeling, surfing, island hopping, etc. Eventually I found it the interested part is scheduled the overall journey by myself, we do not really need a tour guide but if you are decided to go senaru (waterfall), please get one tour guide from internet or Lombok.
Looking for something different in travel, definitely Lombok is your destination. Let me introduce this lovely island where it located at west nusa tenggara, Indonesia. However, Lombok is neighboring with Bali, most of the tourist able to get speed boat transfer from Lombok to Bali , it would like to take approximately 2-3 hours. If you are planning to travel around Bali and Lombok, please do sufficient of research via online, because the there is many different rules and regulation in this country. I will explain more details after that.
Our flight is on 12.40pm to 15.50pm from KL to LOMBOK, unfortunately flight delayed one more hour. It changed from 1.40pm to 4.50pm.
Blue bird is one of the common taxi in Indonesia, it is similar Grab and uber in Malaysia. As I mentioned earlier, different rules and regulation in LOMBOK, some of the area Blue Bird is strictly not allowed to enter. This is really happened on us because we did booked a Blue Bird from apps but many of Blue Bird rejected to pick us. Here is the reason why, Blue Bird offered better price so that many customers choose Blue Bird rather than normal taxi. Subsequently, we still booked a Blue Bird successfully from LOMBOK international airport to hotel.
Be aware, once you come out from LOMBOK international airport, there are plenty of taxi out there. Many of them offered different prices to send you the destination. The constructive advice from me is daring to negotiate with them regardless sport activities, taxi fares, tour guide... *there are many taxi trying to cheat you on high taxi fares, ensure you get the better price on that* negotiate, negotiate and still negotiate.
Although we booked Blue Bird but that area is strictly not allowed Blue Bird to enter, both of us need to walk quite a distance to airport's gate. unpleasant thing happened because one of the normal taxi was chasing us and arguing with Blue Bird taxi driver. Well, this really happened on us, because we insist to get Blue Bird taxi. However, it gives us bad impress on normal taxi in LOMBOK.
Due to late check in at Senggigi Homestay, they transfer us to another hotel with STUNNING VISUAL and even more attention grabbing! Alam mimpi hotel is one of the hotel we stayed for first night, having our dinner at there which costed us 50,000 IDR per pax.
We woke up in the early morning, and ready to get transfer to Gili Trawagan! I did research via online where it is also be known as Gili Paradise, Gili Meno and Gili Air are just besides Gili Trawagan. Why we choose Gili Trawangan is a very happening island that suitable for all people, the expenditure over there is consider affordable compare to other island! We selected the package from Alam Mimpi Hotel which costed 110,000 IDR per pax (included public boat and van transfer).
The schedule of Part 1 in Lombok is Lombok International Airport → Senggigi Beach → Gili Trawangan → Ombak Sunset →
We checked in Angels Cottage which walked approximately 8 mins to Gili Trawangan jetty, carried all the baggage to cottage is extremely exhausted , instead of taking horse-drawn carriages. Please note that there is no car transport in Gili Trawagan, horse-drawn carriages and bike are probably the common transport in Gili Trawagan.
The atmosphere of Angels Cottage is similar as "sasak village" theme, surrounding with a great deat of lush greenary.

We had our dinner at gili diver where we ordered mount rinjani 55,000 IDR, chicken breast 55,000 IDR, lime squash 30,000 IDR, total bill of having dinner at gili diver is 140,000 IDR. At my travel vlog, there is also mentioned a crepe nutella 30,000 IDR has become our supper.

Third day at Gili Trawangan, we woke up in the early morning as usual. Luckily cottage itself serve breakfast everyday so that we do not need to think about what to eat and spend at breakfast. We did really chilling at early morning while having our breakfast cause the surrounded environment is fabulous.
The scenery where took nearby ombak sunset hotel, we are on free and easy activities today. Both of us decided to rent bicycle and it is available at Angels Cottage. 80,000 IDR for 2 pax, riding bicycle is activities must to do in Gili Trawangan, the best thing to spend time with my boyfriend at there is riding around the island while enjoying spectacular view. At the same time, we also explored the beauty of this island and manage to take some photo there.
