If you are looking short hike in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. Ketumbar hill where is the ideal destination for you especially you are a nature lover. Oh yes, there are some wild boar at the peak where you will catch up with them. Before we get started, a brief introduction to Ketumbar hill. Ketumbar hill is merely a 2.1 kilometer, equivalent to 59 floors climbs and it was rated as an easy hike in the hiking community.
We started the hike approximately at 8 am morning, surprisingly there is a large number of people hiked on that day. Personally, I think that is a famous hike for the group community because it is also a "jungle gym" at the top of Ketumbar hill. There is also a great deal of rudimentary exercise equipment where you can play around.
How to go to Ketumbar hill?
It is advisable to use google map and Waze to search for the exact location (19627, Jalan 6/95b, Taman Cheras Utama, 56100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur), but the parking place is extremely limited so better carpool with your friends.As you can see from google map, there is a carpark just nearby the trailhead entrance. Some food stalls located there as well.
The entrance is FOC.

The pathway of hiking is pretty straightforward and consistent steep ascend, approximately 20 mins to reach the peak.
