Immense yourself into these beautiful beach with crystal clear water, laying on the beach and grab a good drink by listening the calm sea. Hands up, it is me! I am a beach lover and I love the white sands with waves lapping on  the shore. Pretty isn't it ? Had the light breakfast at my hostel and ready to go Kota Kinabalu Ferry Terminal, Jesselton Point with new friends that I met in hostel.

The itinerary to get around Sabah (Part 2)

Day 4  Breakfast at Keng Wan Hing - Cycling Around City - Kota Kinabalu International Airport

How to go Jesselton Point ?

Jesselton point is close to KK city, the walking distance is 10 min from my hostel. Internet is so genius because I use it all the time even though I travelling by myself. No idea how to go ? USE WAZE is pretty good solution. It happened all the time we might lost the direction.

I decided to go BEACH BUMS BORNEO as Hostel Staff told me it was the good one. Initially, I barely bought Sapi Island costed me RM28 subsequetly Manukan Island is my other option. Therefore additional RM10 for Manukan Island. Entrance fees is RM5. Total expenses for island hopping is RM33. Please note that entrance fees is pay only once and keep the receipt nicely. You are require show the receipt to particular staff.

Top things to do in Sabah

4. Island hopping at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park

Back to the topic of previous post, top things to do in Sabah is island hopping with no doubt! There are five islands which are Sapi Island, Manukan Island, Mamutik Island, Gaya Island and Sulug Island. You can do island hopping by your own instead of getting tour at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Just do it by yourself. Once go to Jesselton Point main hall there are wide variety of package I can say the service is from A to Z. Regardless scuba diving, parasailing, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. Different counter offer different price so what you need to do is bargain with them. Get the lowest price as possible. Sapi Island and Manukan Island are two island hopping that I would like to highlighted. At first, I kinda afraid of island hopping alone because of there are certain things happened before. But I can tell you " No worries" on it, it is totally fine and many tourists visit there. It is totally safe. Here, you are free to immense yourself into crystal clear turquoise water. It make a comparision between Sapi Island and Manukan Island, Sapi Island is the favorite to me.

While you are travelling alone, most probably you need to stay calm and get a stranger to take great video of it. I can't miss this beautiful view just right here! I could not forget how I feel comfortable and spending these time by myself.

5. The most beautiful sunset in Sabah - Tanjung Aru

Even Sabahan They like Tanjung Aru, why don't you? Definitely, the best sunset in Sabah so far, I'm totally indulge with this magnificent view but quite crowded there. A good place allow us to get prefect getaway. A good place allow us to get into society and learn how to appreciate your life. Watching the sunset with golden ray and slowly turning in a bright red, fire red indeed. It is the greatest thing in life. I met some awesome friends there, all of them from Taiwan, China and Philippine. Sometimes, stranger can be friends as well. Because of them, I feel it was a memorable trip and truly appreciate their help along the way.

How to get there?

Tanjung Aru is easily accessible by bus or grab. I choose grab for my two way return as it costed RM18. Approximately 15 mins drove from my hostel (Jalan Gaya). If you are budget oriented traveler, it is advisable to take bus No16 in front of Wawasan Plaza or City Hall.

On the last day, had my breakfast at Keng Wan Hing that costed RM10.7 (Wan Ton Noodles and Kopi O). Next, I was cycling around city initially I plan to go Bukit Dagang. There are too many highway out of my expectation, it was a unpleasant experience and it would be extremely dangerous. So I have move to other places which look "ok to cycle". A boiling hot day, I almost can't stand for it. Cycling around city which I will not suggest, but it is fine if you cycling around park.

Near to Jesselton Point.

The end of my journey, pretty good to make a lot of new friends there and engage with them. We shared about life, we shared about values, we share about cultures with each others. Everyone will get first time experience, me as well. Believe me, it was an amazing experience in lifetime ever.

Summarized my total expense: RM800

Airasia two way return (KUL - BKI) 15kg luggage included RM379.39
Accommodation B&B@21 3 Night RM100
Transportation RM33
Island Hopping (Sapi Island and Manukan Island) Entrance fees include RM43
Ranau tour RM160
