Travel itinerary: Phuket 4D3N

By Vanny - January 20, 2019

Who does not love to travel? Definitely is in my travel list because favourite country to travel. Flashed back the memories in 2017, I went to Bangkok, Krabi and Railay, this year Phuket create a sense of excitement for me! Back to my Phuket 4D3N itinerary, there are a lot of things happened throughout our journey. No doubt with that, I took the cheap flight offer as a sign to make this trip happen. I have planned a few months before this, Phuket is the island of Southern Thailand, it has become my perfect getaway from Malaysia. AirAsia has the ongoing promotion on summer, grab your flight ticket before it's too late. I grabbed it (KUL) to (HKT) RM553.40 with share luggage 20kg + one Vietnamese chicken wrap (2 PAX). If you are looking for travel tips and things to know, you should be getting eyes on my content.

4D3N Phuket itinerary as below
Day 1 KLIA2 - Phuket International Airport - Phoenix Grand Hotel - Patong Street Walk
Simple yet delicious
chocolate brownie + coffee RM 8/9
Nowadays, our biggest concern is all about "where is the wifi", you are in the right place. DTAC has become our first choice sim card in Phuket, experienced the fastest and connected everywhere with DTAC.

How to get around Phuket?
Getting around to Phuket is not a challenge, Phuket town has great accessible public transport tuk-tuk, taxi or minivan is available. In my opinion, the minivan would be the cheapest option which will cost around 150-200 Baht per person.

Tuktuk is just everywhere but the best way is to negotiate with them before you get the price. Most of them will very likely to declare as they are from the same company, the price is unchanged. But the thing is they would like to charge a higher price. For example, 15-minute drive Tuktuk cost me approximately 400 baht! I can say that it is very depending on your bargaining skills.

How to access from Phuket airport (HKY) to Patong?
Once you arrive at Phuket airport, you may follow along the way to the arrival signboard. Minivan and taxi are available, I will suggest going to share minivan 180 baht per pax, would be considered the most cost-effective and time-saving method to go Phuket.

Street food in Thailand is LOVE ♥

We booked a few different hotels for each night, initially, we spent a night in Phoenix Grand Hotel costed RM76.44 with breakfast included. It is a pretty good location where nearby Patong beach and Bangla road, merely 10 to 15 mins stroll to attraction places in Phuket. Overall it is above average.

Day 2 Forty Winks Phuket hotel - Free & Easy - Patong Beach

We checked in Forty Winks Phuket hotel the next day. I booked via agoda.com and it's around RM80.32 including breakfast as well.

What to do in Patong Beach?
1. Experience Thai Massage to relax yourself
Undoubtedly the very first thing which crosses in mind when you at Thailand - it is Thai Massage. There are a lot of options and usually priced at 200 baht and above.

2. Eat like a local
Apart from Patong beach, Phuket town is a wonderful place where filled with a great variety of LOCAL FOODS. Tom yum goong, Papaya salad, Kanom Jeen, Thai Pancake and etc. Whatever you name it. I would strongly recommend you try their local foods especially Thai hawker stalls. Those foods are unbelievably delicious!
3. Shopping, shopping and shopping
I would like to highlight the small things to buy in this post. Ideally, we spent most of the time at the shopping complex "Jungceylon" and 7-eleven hahaha. There is much more different from Malaysia since a wide variety of choices. That really makes me suffer from allodoxaphobia, anyway I'm Libra. You cannot imagine how crazy we were shopped at 7-eleven, grilled burger, pre-packed food, coffee, potato chip, yogurt and more. My boyfriend and I can merely eat our meal at 7-eleven, it is a heaven for us.

4. Embrace in a leisure-able way
DO NOTHING AND JUST CHILL. We do not go to any fine dining restaurant but we did enjoy an exotic sunset view at Phuket. Personally, I think the best place to pick is Tri Trang coast beach.

Day 3 At Zea Phuket - Tri Tang Coast Beach

We changed our hotel from Patong beach to Tri Tang Beach, it is approximately 3km away from Patong. A truly sweet escape from a busy city, we booked an ocean breezed room around RM116.54 x 1 Night excluding breakfast. Ocean breezed room is attached with a chill balcony that faces the sea. The best thing at Tri Tang Beach was not crowded, you can take a great deal of Instagram-worthy photos here!

Truth be told, there is a limited restaurant and things to do. If you are looking for a honeymoon or romantic escape with sunset view, to experience the stunning gorgeous beach on the island. Such a perfect getaway for silence seekers.

This is the travel agent from Phuket, we both meet a new friend and his name called Man. We all know about the scams are spread everything including Phuket as well. We are lucky to meet Man as our travel guide around Phuket. Stay alert in your journey once your arrival at Phuket international airport, some minivan will stop halfway and he will intro you the assigned "travel agent" who intro you the different package tour around Phuket. This is a very popular scam. Subsequently, minivan's driver will get the commission from it. For your information, noted down the Tourist Police 1155. Please comment below if you need the travel agent from me.
